The mill site for Oregon Industrial Lumber Products has been operating since the 1940’s. In 1983 Murray McDowell bought and took over what is today O.I.L.P. Today both Murray and his son John are part of everyday operations. Specializing in high grade clears as boards, beams, and mouldings. Our small size and hands-on approach to manufacturing allows us to meet high expectations of quality for our products.

The equipment at the mill is a combination of old time techniques and state-of-the-art technology. Our kilns specialize in drying large clear lumber to low moisture variation. The Inline twin band resaw is set up so that we can handle everything from large flitches down to ½ material with tight tolerances. The finish produced by our various knife machines and their operators are next to none for quality. Lastly our shipping department specializes in mixed item loads so that all of your Douglas Fir & Yellow Cedar needs are fulfilled.
